The Bugatti Veyron Spider is almost within reach.

Word of a Veyron Spider creation started to circulate as early as January of this year. Now, more details are sprouting up to attest that such plan is really in order. According to insiders, Bugatti is truly going to produce the convertible version of the Veyron model, but in a limited edition of 80 units only. Though not completely taking in the whole convertible-look package like the Ferrari F430 Spider, the new design is said to gear more towards a Porsche Carrera GT. In terms of speed, this new model is reported to achieve a maximum level of 350kmh, not exactly the top-rater in its category but still quite a rare speed for a typical convertible.

Rumor or not, the mere concept of a Bugatti Veyron Spider is a dream car come to all sport or convertible car lovers.

July 28, 2007 at 2:09 pm (Bugatti, Bugatti Sports Cars, Old Masters of Bugatti)

However, Bugatti racing canon rounds off with what many claim is the most beautiful racing car ever designed—the Type 59. The Type 59, launched in the year 1933, was plainly derived from another Bugatti car racing model, the well known T35. Both cars sported the same shape, though the Type 35 was clearly lower as well as sleeker. It was also, in addition, distinguished by its unique radial-spoked wheels. Lovely Bugatti

July 26, 2007 at 1:05 pm (Bugatti, Bugatti Sports Cars, Old Masters of Bugatti)

Bugatti was careful to reinforce his racing effort by selling the same cars to private owners and at different times, offered eight an four-cylinder, single or twin cam, unblown and supercharged variants within the same body profile. Top of the Bugattiste’s shopping list must be a 35B, its 2.3 litre, supercharged, straight eight offering 130 bhp along with a delicious exhaust sound—a sound that, until one has been able to hear it, one would fail entirely to appreciate the fact of why it was often likened to the sound of tearing cloth. For many people, the cars they desire most are those of their youth, when their enthusiasm matured before their driving license. June 28, 2007 at 1:58 am (Bugatti, Bugatti Sports Cars, Old Masters of Bugatti)

Despite the resulting buzz that was even greater than the one that preceded the launch of the EB110, the machine, in its own right, was a prime piece of automotive muscle.

For performance speed, the EB110 scored top points from racing enthusiasts who admired the four turbochargers its engine boasted. The number of its turbochargers made the EB110’s engine not only unique, it was wholly flexible as well. The five tiny valves that were in each of the cylinders were capable of doling out a speed of 9200 rpm that of course, contributed marvelously well to the extraordinary 550 bhp engine output.
