The Benefits of Leasing a Million-dollar Bugatti

August 24, 2007 at 8:12 am (Bugatti News)

Reverting to the payment scheme chosen by Timothy Durham, it initially sounds absurd given the interest fees (But hey, he’s the financial genius, not me).

As it turns out, there were two important benefits in Durham’s leasing scheme: One, he wanted to invest first the remainder of the money; and two, he can have the taxes in monthly portions instead of the full blast of dues.

Durham, who leads the investment firm Obsidian Enterprises and several other industrial corporations, explains to provide insight: ”One of the biggest things is you’re deferring your tax because the sales tax is getting stretched over some period of time.”

Durham has also put in consideration that in buying through a lease plan, he might benefit more in the long run. This is due to his estimate and expectation that in the coming years, the Bugatti would most probably be worth more than what he has agreed to pay.

Lesson Learned: There is always another way to stretch and save one’s money, even if one is to buy a million-dollar gem such as a Bugatti.

Bugatti Veyron on Lease Terms

August 22, 2007 at 8:11 am (Uncategorized)

Another typical tale of the filthy rich, but with a unique twist on the payment plan.

Multimillionaire financier Timothy S. Durham craves to park a black-on-silver Bugatti Veyron in his 45-space garage. Thus, he decides to acquire this $1.5 million-worth Bugatti model. But instead of shelling out the whole million, which he can certainly do given his financial background, he opts for lease payment terms.

For a downpayment of $400,000, he would then pay an estimate of $20,000 monthly payments for the next five years.

Update news on the Bugatti Veyron Spider

August 18, 2007 at 9:51 am (Bugatti News, Bugatti Sports Cars, Bugatti Veyron Spider)

The Bugatti Veyron Spider is almost within reach.

Word of a Veyron Spider creation started to circulate as early as January of this year. Now, more details are sprouting up to attest that such plan is really in order. According to insiders, Bugatti is truly going to produce the convertible version of the Veyron model, but in a limited edition of 80 units only. Though not completely taking in the whole convertible-look package like the Ferrari F430 Spider, the new design is said to gear more towards a Porsche Carrera GT. In terms of speed, this new model is reported to achieve a maximum level of 350kmh, not exactly the top-rater in its category but still quite a rare speed for a typical convertible.

Rumor or not, the mere concept of a Bugatti Veyron Spider is a dream car come to all sport or convertible car lovers.

Demand Surges upward for the Bugatti Veyron

August 14, 2007 at 9:43 am (Bugatti News, Bugatti Veyron)

It would seem that a number of millionaires today are clamoring on driving sports cars that reek of unprecedented style and have the ability to whiz off beyond 350kmh. This is evident on the drastically increasing orders received by Bugatti manufacturers on its Veyron model, with reservations now reaching as far as the year 2010. Thus, due to this unexpected demand turnout, Bugatti’s initial limited production of 60 units annually was now converted to 75 units per year.
